COMPLETE TAXIDERMY PROGRAMS:

Complete taxidermy programs are detailed programs covering all techniques and methods required to produce a professional grade of taxidermy. The training programs are all inclusive and coverall apsects of Taxidermy from the time the specimen enters the taxidermy studio to the time the client picks up the finished product. All programs are complete and designed to Train a student to become professional taxidermist with the goal of either starting his or her own business or to be employed as a full or part-time professional. The programs are also designed for the hobby taxidermist to insure professional training to produce professional work.

SPECIALTY TAXIDERMY PROGRAMS:

Pro Mount specialty programs offer the student additional advanced training in areas of taxidermy to develop advanced skills in specific areas of need. Specialty programs build on the training received in the basic taxidermy curriculums and offer advanced training in all areas of taxidermy. These programs cover advanced creative techniques not covered in the basic taxidermy courses. Programs are designed to jump start a taxidermy career and train the student in a short period of time to advance to a higher artistic and technical level of Taxidermy. Specialty programs advance the skill levels of the student and will assist in employment opportunities as well as a solid foundation upon which to start a career in taxidermy and develop their own independent business.

BUSINESS TAXIDERMY PROGRAMS:

Business Taxidermy Programs train the student in all aspects of developing a taxidermy business on either a full time or part time bases. These are complete courses dealing with all aspects of starting a business, running a business and building a solid trained foundation to develop a successful taxidermy enterprise

Program electives are designed to maximize the students time and integrate business courses as well as specified taxidermy programs into a complete training program. It allows the student to apply learned techniques in real time as needed within the structure of the program in progress. It also offers the opportunity to acquire start-up funding for tools and supplies needed after the student graduates.

Pre-Course Agreement Plan

 

Prior to enrolling in PROMOUNT SCHOOL OF TAXIDERMY a personal interview is required. The potential student is encouraged to visit the school for a tour and meet the instructor. If this is not possible a phone interview can be arranged. This interview is designed to identify the students goals in regards to learning taxidermy and identify if PROMOUNT will be able to meet those goals.

 

As a result of the interview a PRE-COURSE AGREEMENT PLAN will be developed. This agreement will establish the following:

 

1. COURSE LENGTH
2. START AND END DATES OF INSTRUCTION
3. TUITION
4. COMPLETE LIST OF SPECIMENS TO BE MOUNTED
5. SUPPLY COSTS FOR THE COURSE

 

The purpose of the agreement is to give the student and the school a clear understanding of the course of study, complete list of specimens to be mounted and all costs.

 

The agreement is reviewed by the student and will be signed by the student and the school on the first day of class.

 

The PRE-COURSE AGREEMENT PLAN is a signed commitment by the school to insure a proper course of instruction agreed upon by the student and PROMOUNT.

 

Refund Policy:

 

Registration fee refundable in full 2 weeks prior to start of class. After 2 weeks $200.00 refund for cancellation.
Full refund less $1000.00 after 4 days of instruction. Refund adjusted at the discretion of the school up to 40 hours of instruction No refunds after 40 hours of instruction. Veteran refund policy is compliant with 38 cfr 21.4255 -pro-rata policies. Refunds will not be made for a minimum of 45 days after termination of instruction.
